This Privacy Policy explains how Skilliyo Nigeria (“we”) collects and uses information when you use our website and app (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

  • Provider information shown on listings, such as business name, service description, category, area and contact details (phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, email), provided by the provider or collected by our team with their consent.
  • Reviewer contact (email or WhatsApp) when someone submits a review, so we can confirm the review and reach the reviewer.
  • Location only when you tap “Find services near me” — your device location is used to sort nearby providers and is not stored by us.
  • Basic technical data such as your device/browser type, used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

  • To show listings and help buyers find and contact providers.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Service.
  • To moderate and verify reviews.
  • To contact providers about their listing.

3. Sharing

Provider contact details on listings are public so buyers can reach them. When you tap a contact button you are taken to a third-party app (e.g. WhatsApp), whose own terms and privacy policies apply. We use service providers to host and run the Service (for example our database/hosting provider) and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the Service to function. We do not use cookies for advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service. Providers can ask us to update or remove their listing, and reviewers can ask us to remove their review and contact.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. To do so, contact us at info@skilliyo.com.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version here.
